I graduated from Cornell University in May ’11 with a BS in Applied Economics and Management with specializations in Entrepreneurship and Finance. That spring, I was one of three undergrads accepted to Cornell’s MBA program; however, I decided to get some work experience first. I’m currently based  out of Miami, Florida and have been working for the last two years as a Business Analyst for Baptist Health Medical Group – part of Baptist Health South Florida.

I swam competitively for fourteen years, starting when I was 8. I just barely missed making the Nicaraguan Olympic team by .3 seconds in 2008.

The majority of my work background includes data analytics, automating processes & reports, sales, cost analysis, financial planning and analysis and financial modeling. I have started a company in my spare time and almost acquired one my senior year of college.

I want to find a position that merges my passions in data analysis, technology and business. I’m not looking for just any job.

Types of companies I really want to work for:

Disruptive technology startups
Innovative technology companies

new technology trends, productivity, anything social/web 2.0
gathering and manipulating data to extract meaning from it
the financial markets
how information or ideas spread so quickly
working on projects/things that I enjoy and will live on for a long time
making things happen and having fun while doing it (even if I don’t have a “map”)

I read about a book a week (on my Kindle).
I love electronic music.
I speak English and Spanish fluently.
I love traveling (recently Seattle 2x, Chicago, Los Angeles, Mexico & Honduras).
Sneaker enthusiast.
Exercise 5-6x a week.
